Biography

Welcome to the Genoa Elementary Art Gallery!

I’m proud to have been a part of the Genoa Comet family for 19 years, serving as the Art Teacher for Kindergarten through 5th Grade. A graduate of Clay High School, I earned my Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University and my Master’s from the University of Toledo.

Art has always been a passion of mine—painting is my favorite medium, with ceramics a close second. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of painting more than 15 murals in local hospitals and am always working on a creative project. I also enjoy exploring new cuisines and learning about different cultures.

At Genoa Schools, our mission is to Educate World Class Kids. One way we achieve this is by nurturing creativity and expression in our young artists. In Art Class, students build studio habits, explore various techniques, and grow as imaginative thinkers. By working together, we can help every child uncover and develop the incredible talents they possess.
