Biography

Welcome to the Genoa Elementary Art Gallery! I teach Art to Kindergarten through 5th Grade, and I love my job! I live in Curtice with my husband, Brent, and our 2 children. I am a graduate of Clay High School, received my Bachelor's from BGSU, and my Master's from UT. I love anything Art, but painting is my favorite, and ceramics a close second. I have painted over 15 murals in local hospitals, and always have a project I'm working on. I also love trying new foods and learning about cultures.

Art is a big passion of mine, and I am blessed to observe our kids create amazing things! We all have our own special talents and interests, and I love helping our artists grow. In Art Class, students practice studio skills, being creative and discover new things. Together, we can inspire our children to reveal all the incredible abilities they have inside of them!
