Biography

Hello I'm the Art Teacher at St. Edward Epiphany School . I started teaching prek-8 grades here at St. Edward Epiphany School in 2005. Since then I've watched the students, and the art program grow and I'm excited to continue to watch them grow. As my students became better artists I became a better teacher.
I am a Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts Graduate with my BFA in Art Education. Currently I am in VCU's off campus Graduate Program getting my Masters In Interdisciplinary Studies in Studio Arts, my focus is on Painting with mixed media and Kiln Fired Glass. I love sharing my personal and professional experiences of art with my students I feel like it gives them a real perspective on Art in the Real world.
I have lived in RVA for about 20 years, growing up in Maryland and NY as a child. My greatest passion is teaching children to think creatively.
