Biography

Hi, I'm Ms. Chambers, or Ms. C, as my students call me. :)

I am the art teacher at both Madison Heights and Amelon Elementary, and this is my first year with Amherst County. I have enjoyed getting to know each and every one of my students, from pK-5th grade, and have enjoyed creating with them!

In the art room, I prioritize our schools' emphasis on safety, respect, and responsibility through the creative lens. Students are challenged to grow in their problem-solving skills, perseverance, social-relational skills, and emotional and mental health through lessons which promote individual growth and development in these areas.

I believe all students are worthy of a quality education, which I believe is incomplete without the arts. Thank you for encouraging your student each day, and thank you for supporting our school's art department as I aim to make it the best it can be.
