Biography

Since 2012, I have been teaching young artists as an elementary art teacher, fostering creativity and curiosity through hands-on globally inspired art projects. Drawing on my unique background to inspire a love for art and adventure. Growing up as an Air Force brat, I lived overseas and traveled to 33 countries and all 50 U.S. states, experiences that shaped my passion for art and adventure. These adventures exposed me to diverse cultures and stories, which I now weave into my teaching to ignight curiosity into my students.

With a passion for connecting art to culture, exploration and adventure, I created "Adventure Artist Kids", a vibrant platform where young artists can explore and create projects inspired by cultures and traditions from around the world. Through my "Adventure Artist Kids" social media channels--Instagram, Teachers Pay Teachers, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube--I share engaging, accessible art lessons that spark imagination and celebrate diversity. My teaching philosophy centers on blending art with storytelling, encouraging students to see the world through a creative lense. I strive to share the joy of discovery I've found through my travels, empowering students to connect with the world through art.
