Biography

Mikaela Stadler is the art teacher at Clayton Elementary School in Englewood, CO. As an art educator, her goal is to use the language of visual art and design to experience, discuss, & practice artistic skills as well as social emotional skills with her students. She is passionate about helping students become life long learners by facilitating a love for learning in the art studio. Integration is a crucial element of Mrs. Stadler’s education philosophy and teaching goals, making frequent connections between the art world and everyday life, learning in other subjects, and students personal interests a fundamental part of every lesson. She strives to help students, staff, and their community to both think critically about the world around them by asking essential questions, and to develop healthy life skills by expressing ideas and emotions through the creative process.
