Biography

Hello and welcome to TV Art Studios on Artsonia!
This is a place for students to share what they are creating and helps build a portfolio of their work throughout elementary school.

I teach k-12 art at Turkey Valley. I love having the opportunity to help your students' creativity, skills, and self-esteem grow through making art! They amaze me everyday!
I earned my Master's in Art Education from UNI in the spring of 2023.
I live on a farm with my husband, a science teacher. I have two kiddos, a grown son, Sam, and a high school daughter, Josi.

When I create, I like to draw, paint, make linocut and cyanotype prints, and love using mixed media. I also love playing with clay and trying new techniques in all media. Photography is also a love of mine. Nature, color, texture, and shape inspire my art. I find an appreciation for the beauty in little things around us that may be overlooked.
