Biography

Hello McKelvey Primary Families!

My name is Jayme Durrwachter a.k.a. Mrs. D!

I have been teaching young artists in Missouri, Texas and New Mexico for the past 20 years.

I began as a porcelain potter, but I found a love for painting during a watercolor class that I took from a retired teacher about 16 years ago. Most of the art I create now are of homes (for realtors), landscapes, and pet portraits.

I hope you enjoy your child's Artsonia gallery and please consider purchasing their beautiful art on some of the products that Artsonia offers. Money raised comes straight back to the art room so we can keep the art room stocked with all the fun supplies that keeps the students engaged and creating beautiful art!
