Biography

Mrs. Roberts is a board certified visual arts instructor. She is a strong advocate for student choice and teaches using the TAB Choice model. (Teaching for Artistic Behaviors). Students in her classes can expect to demonstrate the elements and principles of art in a series of projects of their own design and completion. Students are instructed how to create like professional artists, maintaining their workspaces and supplies, writing real artist statements and deciding which projects will be displayed. Students have access to drawing, painting, collage, quilling, sculpture, printmaking, clay, fiber arts and jewelry. Mrs. Roberts hosts an open house create and play afternoon on the third Wednesday of each month, September through May. Please feel free to join us from 3pm to 5pm.
