Biography

Ms. Ward has been teaching art for 11 years this year! She grew up in Maryland, right outside of Washington, DC. She holds a BA in Visual Arts from Winthrop University, and a Master's Degree in Art Education from the University of Maryland. Her personal art goals include drawing on her own 3-5 times per week and learning how to show her art work at galleries etc., and, one day, she wants to go back to school for a Masters of Fine Arts in Painting/Drawing. Ms. Ward has been to every state in the US except Hawaii, Montana, California, and North Dakota. Her favorite things to do when she's not making art are eating, whitewater kayaking and rafting, organizing things, reading and looking at the sky. She pretty much loves everything having to do with being outside. :)
