Biography

My name is Dyango Chavez Cutino. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a graphic designer and artist for over 20 years, in Cuba and the US. As a teacher, I work diligently to provide my students with an environment that supports their creative exploration and grows their love of the arts.

In our choice-based environment, students are treated like real artists. They learn about many different techniques, materials, and are then free to explore their own interests and ideas. This philosophy of teaching is called Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB).
