Biography
Mrs. Bilton is happy to be teaching the children at Anderson Primary School. She loves working with children, especially when she can share her favorite subjects with them, which include how to make art, learning about the culture, art and artists of different times and places, finding ways to improve what we do, and trying to make the world a better place for each other, by being thoughtful and kind to people, animals and our environment. Along with all the art we learn, we spend time in class speaking correctly, learning new vocabulary, using good manners, and valuing the joy of learning!

Carmen Bilton, Sculptor, MFA NY Academy of Art, has run Carmen's Academy of Creativity and Goodness, a fine arts program in Eutawville, SC in addition to teaching every age level art, from toddlers to senior citizens! She taught art at the college level over 10 years, including both studio art courses and art history/appreciation courses. The photo shows her working on a life-size sculpture she made of a mother and child. Her favorite art to make is sculpture or pictures of people, especially portraits!
