Biography

Teaching art is my passion. I believe that in a time when our children are bombarded with images (t.v., internet, advertising....) that they need to be able to communicate in this visual world, understand what is coming at them, and how people can manipulate their reactions. I believe art education is at the core of educating children so that they think for themselves and learn to persevere and problem solve. Art education allows students to show a different way of knowing and connecting than all other subjects they study.
