Biography
As an artist and an art teacher I connect deeply with these three words: Wonder. Share. Inspire.

My inspiration for teaching art comes from collaborating with others and sharing with the community around me. Einstein said that we can live our lives as if everything were a miracle or as if nothing were a miracle. I choose to believe that every person is filled with miracles including the gift of imagination. Einstein also said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” I feel it is my purpose to help students find and develop their imaginations while also giving them knowledge and skills to support what they imagine.

Currently, I am teaching visual art at Nashville School of the Arts. My course responsibilities include Art 1, Art 2, Ceramics, Art Survey, and assisting with senior Cap Stone Projects. We are partners with Oz: http://www.oznashville.com/, The Belmont Mansion: http://belmontmansion.com/ , and several professional artist from the Nashville Arts Community including: Megan Kelley: http://artsnash.com/author/megan_kelley/ , Beth Inglish: http://binglishart.com/author/admin/ , Angel Funk, Sandy Spain, Herschel Pollard. We also collaborate with Erin Kice and The Nashville Community Darkroom: http://nashvillecommunitydarkroom.org/
