I was born and raised in Emmett, Idaho where most of my family still resides. While attending Northwest Nazarene University, I lived in Nampa, Idaho where I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education.

I started teaching at Jefferson Middle School in the Fall of 2012. While in my first year, I learned so much about different styles of art, myself and my students. It is so exciting to use my knowledge and understanding to help students grow in the world of visual arts.

My husband Matthew & I chase after our son, Britten and daughter, Sabina, constantly. My favorite activities outside of school would have to be drawing. painting, organizing (just about anything). swimming, bike riding and sleeping :D I love Pinterest.

I am constantly looking at new & interesting art every day. It's an ever-changing world!
