Biography
"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge." -Einstein

Ms. Meller has a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) with a concentration of studio painting as well as computer graphics. She also holds a MATAE (Master's of Teaching in Art Education) with a certification to educate grades Kindergarten - 12th in the visual arts. Ms. Meller graduated with honors at the top of her respected graduating class.

Ms. Meller started at All About Me, an early learning facility as a primary classroom teacher educating pre-k-4 students providing them with necessary tools and global/cultural awareness, fostering developmental needs and social skills as a foundation to build upon and prosper in kindergarten with a love for life-long learning as they grow. Not only did Ms. Meller work with pre-k-4 students during the school year, she also covered a range of primary classrooms from infants to toddlers to pre-K-3 before earning her own pre-k-4 classroom. Summers there were filled with an art program Ms. Meller designed and developed educating students ages 4-9 in the fun and techniques of crafts and the arts.

Ms. Meller then went on to become a 2nd grade teacher at the RYNJ (Rosenbaum Yeshiva of Northern New Jersey) educating a great group of boys in English/General Studies and co-teaching with a dedicated and energetic Rabbi before finally settling into the Teaneck School District at Hawthorne Elementary School (Ms. Meller's primary school) and Lowell Elementary School to educate within a content that she is so passionate about, the visual arts!

Ms. Meller has a love for the visual arts, educating, her dog(s), family/friends, painting/creating/drawing, earth science, the universe, animals (especially sea turtles and horses!), cartoons, music, National Geographic, paleontology, gardening, healthy cooking, the outdoors-hiking/camping, reading, exploring, learning and living life to the fullest!
