Biography

Originally from the West Virginia Mountains the art lady taught in the hills of Virginia for twelve years and then moved to Houston, TX where she taught for seven years. The mountains have called her home and she now teaches in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Ms. Kincaid knew she wanted to be an art teacher when she was five years old and that dream never left her heart. She studied at West Virginia University where she received her BFA in Printmaking and Art Education. While teaching she worked on her MA degree through New York University's program abroad in Venice, Italy during the summer breaks. Just recently, Ms Kincaid achieved her National Board Certification in EC-12 ART in the fall of 2011.
