Dear Families,

The OKES Art Studio is just that -- an art studio where students find inspiration from multiple outlets, come up with ideas, gather supplies, and create their own unique artwork! Students learn many valuable skills: problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, sharing, and most importantly..creativity and expression!
My role as their art teacher is to provide them with demonstrations of proper set up, clean up, and care of materials, as well as age appropriate techniques, relevant artist inspirations, and specific one-on-one help. I absolutely love getting to know what the students are interested in and love to create with.
