Soph, This has a strong, simple composition with a clear central focal point. The dark triangular form pulls the eye immediately, and the white arch/rays around it give it a symbolic or ceremonial feeling, almost like a sunrise, gateway, mountain, or tent under a radiant sky. The best part is the color structure. The horizontal bands of pink, yellow, orange, and red create a warm sunset-like atmosphere. The blue at the top of the triangle is a smart choice because it is the only cool color, so it stands out sharply against all the warm tones. That small blue accent gives the image energy. The white negative space is also interesting. The arch and radiating marks look like they were reserved from the color rather than drawn on afterward, which gives the piece a handmade print or wax-resist feeling. It makes the central object feel surrounded by light. It's great! Love, Dad

Welcome to our virtual Art Show on Artsonia! I am so delighted to share with you the beautiful Art work your children have worked hard to create this year. To keep the "Art show" from being too long, I have created a separate slideshow for each grade. I would LOVE for you to view them all at least once. Thank you for visiting and supporting the arts. The money generated through Artsonia will help purchase art supplies for the school.
Thank you for sending me your delightful and creative children that are such a pleasure to work with and bring me so much joy!
