Welcome to our visual arts gallery on Artsonia. In our art room students are learning the habits required to be artists: Developing craft, Observing, Expressing, Envisioning, Engaging & Persisting, Stretching & Exploring, Reflecting and Understanding Art Worlds. Artists in grades 2-4 can choose their subject matter and media from "opened" studios (Drawing, Collage, Painting, Sculpture, Clay, Printmaking, Fiber) to explore and experiment and also demonstrate their understanding of their grade level essential learning targets.

I take photos of K & 1st grade artwork but in second grade, students begin taking responsibility for taking photos of their artwork and uploading them to their digital portfolios.
