It is such a pleasure to work with students from across the city in the Virtual Academy this year. I am so enjoying getting to know them all and to experience art creation with them.
I began working in the Pittsfield Public School district when my daughter began Kindergarten in 2000. For five years I substitute taught where I was privileged to work in all of the elementary buildings. Since 2004, when I was hired to teach Art exclusively, I have worked in numerous buildings as well. I know virtual learning has been a challenge for families and students and I am very thankful to have share this experience with you all.
