During this time when there are fewer people inside our building, Artsonia becomes even more important as your source for viewing the artwork created by your students and their classmates. These student portfolios show what and how your students are learning in Art class; they can be thought of as a visual supplement to report cards.

In art class, I emphasize student voice and choice, and guide students to develop and increase their own creative confidence. You will be seeing fewer teacher-driven "art projects", and more experimental art based on the individual interests of your children. As always, I share diverse art techniques, materials, and contemporary artists. I love seeing your children's joy as they explore art making!
