Just for Kindergarten

Kindergarteners finished their wonderful self-portraits: Artsonia Art Gallery - Kindergarten Self-Portrait

Just for 1st Grade

A student was in the running for Artist of the Week on Artsonia. Thank you for voting. Artist of the Week
1st graders made White Spot Inspectors (their little invisible friends that inspect their artwork to see if they left any white spots) Artsonia Art Gallery - White Spot Inspectors
Students learned the parts of an insect and drew these Cute Critters
Students took the iPad outside for a nature photo. These were used as the backgrounds for their animation. Yep, they made their insect fly!

We revisited our portrait sketches to learn a new skill, value drawing. Artsonia Art Gallery - Value Drawing
Students tried out a new way to create a class animation; a rotoscope. We used a Flipbookit.com system for making our digital results physical.
