November already?!?!?
from Ms. Brenda Gunderson
It is hard to believe that the first quarter of the 2011-2012 school year is almost over! We have been very busy in the Elementary Art Room!

KINDERGARTEN has been learning how lines create shapes, and how shapes can be turned into all sorts of things!

FIRST GRADE has been working with lines and patterns, symmetry, and texture.

SECOND GRADE has made their own color wheels, and are currently creating their own creatures out of clay.

THIRD GRADE has finished their story plate project. Look for them to be coming home before the holidays.

FOURTH GRADE has been exploring color, and are finishing up their first painting of the school year.

*Check out our Artsonia site for new slideshows (the links are in the upper right hand corner of our page) that I will be making using our student's artwork.

*Parent / Teacher conferences are coming up soon! Stop by the Art Room, where I will be having some of the slideshows playing.

Thanks for your continued support!

Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
