New to Artsonia
from Marci Drury
Dear Falcon Family,

Thank you for your patience as I learn how to use Artsonia! It's great showing families what  students are making in art class. We are currently in need of a few parent volunteers to take pictures of student artwork for publication. If that sounds like something you would enjoy, please email FES PTA parent volunteer coordinator Emily Patterson at eop0829@gmail.com

You may notice that sometimes, Mrs. Laurenzi and I teach the same lessons such as the 1st grade "My Dot" lesson based on the book The Dot by Peter Reynolds for International Dot Day in September, but most of the time our students work on different art projects.

You'll find me teaching art classes in the Art/ Music Portable on Monday, Tuesday, and on Wednesday until noon. We currently need the following donations from parents:
  • tissues
  • hand sanitizer
  • Baby wipes and rolls of paper towel
  • ice cream type buckets (for water, since there's no sink in our portable)
I'm looking forward to our Fall lessons, and working hard to get your student's artwork up. Keep posted!
Thank you,
Mrs. Drury

Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
