Students learned different watercolor techniques and looked at classic face cards as we talked about rotational symmetry. Students created 3 thumbnails, a rough draft, and then a designed the top half of their card. After, they used their design and a lightbox to trace their design twice to create a playing card. Then they used watercolor and colored pencil to complete their piece.
