The Great Wave of Kanagawa

Today the students followed instructions on how to draw, "The Great Wave of Kanagawa," with pencil on a practice paper.  Then they followed along again on their 12x 18 white sulphate paper, first with pencil then they outlined everything with a black oil pastel. Lastly the students used temperal paints to paint everythin.  To complete their piece I did a quick tap of white paint to create water on waves.  I love how they all turned out. My students did a fantastic job. Super cool!!
