The work in this showcase was created by 6th grade students with the expertise and guidance of a former Brooks student turned professional artist, Kendal Weber. Students explored the use of value in art and were tasked with creating a one of a kind surrealist still life. They demonstrated the use of value to create depth, and included unexpected object combinations, dreamlike scenarios, or unusual proportions.
