Visual Arts Showcase, 2022-23

This showcase captures the creativity and process of artmaking, and the discovery for students of what artists know and do.  The statements capture the candid observations of students about their own progress and thinking as they make art.  As you'll see, some students are just starting out and are as yet unskilled, while others have pushed their considerable skills to new levels.  There is much bravery displayed here, as the act of photographing, posting, titling and writing about their art forces reflection, but we don't seek perfection or mastery.  Knowing their efforts may fall short of their vision, they persist nonetheless to demonstrate where they are, and grow.
