Spooky Selfie - Tim Burton Style!: DUE 11/6/24

Students learned about Tim Burton's Character style, and the element of art: Value. Students were then tasked with creating their own Tim Burton inspired SPOOKY SELFIE! The viewer should be able to tell that the whitest area is in the eyes, and if they have any stars, or the moon. The rings around the eyes and other shadows should be the darkest areas. All of the other areas on the student's spooky selfie should range anywhere between the lightest area to the darkest shadows. Their self portrait is then finished off with a unique hand-drawn frame of their choosing, and trimmed out and matted on a dark background paper. Enjoy their selfie and see if they hid anything scary in the shadows! Boooo!
