Legacy Charms

Through the lens of their final year at Negley Elementary, fifth-grade students were asked to reflect. They delved into the experiences that the school and their home lives have had their lives during this time. Each student considers their unique journey and envisions the legacy they wish to remember and be remembered by as they transition to Middle School.

With Sculpey polymer clay as their medium, these artists embark on a tactile exploration of self-expression. Guided by their reflections, they mold and sculpt their symbols of this time in their lives.  Each form's colors also hold meaning. As they shape these intricate creations, they not only honor the past but also pave the way for the legacies they aspire to leave behind, leaving an indelible mark on the heart of Negley Elementary.
