We have had a wonderful year creating amazing artwork at Woodbridge!  Students have been learning about the Elements of Art and increasing their vocabulary and knowledge through the artistic process.  Students were introduced to new tools and techniques along with building on skills that challenge their creativity.  Student artwork is always displayed on our art gallery wall at school.  Students love to admire pieces created by their peers and share with all of our students.  Students are also learning about photographing our art to create our online galleries through Artsonia.  Students in grades 1 and 2 having been learning how to take a photograph and edit their artwork.  Students in grades 3-5 build on those uploading skills by choosing an appropriate title for their artwork and then typing 3 sentences.  Students are expected to write about how their art was created.  This might include materials, tools used, art vocublary or the artistic process.  We are so proud of our Woodbridge Artists! Thank you for supporting them through comments and purchases of their artwork on items to give as gifts or hold onto at home.  This year, because we are virtual, every student will have a piece represented (unless parents have not accepted the Artsonia invitation). Congratulations on a wonderful year of Artistic creativity!  Feel free to email me: kvansoes@zps.org if you have any questions.  Thank you!
