Ian, The first thing we thought about when we saw your choice of complimentary colors was the school colors of your dad and aunt. In NY their team colors were purple and gold. We don't always think that such opposite colors go together, but they do in a very special way. This is good to remember not just for art but for other things that you might wonder if it looks good together--maybe clothes, flowers, or even room colors. It is fun to have fun with color.
