A marvellous response to the assignment you were given. First of all, selecting an uncommon animal which makes me wonder what other animals were considered - most likely not a cat, dog or elephant (too many letters to incorporate!). Good job executing the letter (kind of hairy looking) as well as the abstract placement of each letter. Impressive.
