Hi Kade!! It’s been quite a while since you’ve done some art for me to see so I’m glad to celebrate spring with your spring bee. I actually didn’t even think about bees being out and about yet because we usually notice them more in the summer. Have you seen any bees at your house yet? I read they stay warm clustered around the queen bee during the winter and then start emerging when it’s 50-55 degrees outside. Your little bee looks very happy enjoying that brightly colored tulip, maybe for the first time this spring. Did you decide to color its wings blue for a reason? I didn’t know there is a one called blue-banded bee that actually has blue wings!! You taught me something new today!! As always, your art is beautiful and you take such great care in your color choices, your execution and placement of everything that goes into a great piece of art. You know I thoroughly enjoy it every time :). We need to visit again soon. Love you, Grammy
