Hi Ayla, I like your pink tree. I can imagine it’s so full of pink flowers in the spring that cover the entire tree. Maybe it’s a beautiful crabapple tree. Pretty pink fall trees are beautiful too. They are not as common as pink spring trees. The larger burning bush gets mauve colored flowers that are more soft and beautiful. It is more of a small tree that a bush with different shades of pink. The traditional burning bush is a little smaller and turns bright scarlet red. It is spectacular but the one that turns pink is my favorite. I wonder if you’ll see that one this fall when the colors change? I like the subtle trunk colors and falling petals or leaves in your picture. Did you plan for the gray sky to look like April showers? It looks like it is going to rain. Were you imagining a storm coming or you just wanted your tree to stand out in the picture ? I can’t tell if the pink is three-dimensional or if it’s just the good job you did on the subtle color changes to make it look three-dimensional. It’s a beautiful tree and thanks for drawing it.
