Another very good piece from Emerson. The three spheres appear to be well drawn circles, even and on the same vertical axis. I have never seen a snowman with a belt before and it is a good addition to a snowman, giving a "human" apparel to it. I favor the color yellow and see that this bright and happy color makes up the scarf. The well-sized snowflakes fill in the background too. Finally and most impressive to me is the shadow made up of the darker color against the white of the snow on each sphere, an in mistakable sign that the light comes from the right of this image. I have always enjoyed seeing Emerson develop his art skills, and commend the teacher who guides kids in such a constructive medium.
