I love the title of your latest clay creation! The color of the glaze is perfect and also the texture that you were able to achieve. It reminds me of a hot cup of coffee with a saucer on top so it stays warm. If you tip it over and stand it up, is it also a cup?

I love the ethereal quality of your charcoal drawing. The branches in the tree remind me of hands and I love the jagged tree roots in the ground. The little bird is adorable peeking out and sweetly nestled in the crook of the tree. Nice work! Grandma Ann

I love the drawing and the title of your new optical illusion artwork! While you think that the white out did not work out well, I think it may have been a happy little accident since it provides a textural element and enhances the 3D effect. Have you studied Escher yet? I believe there is one of his books we left at your house.

I absolutely love the intense blue color. It reminds me of a very old ceramic glaze, Cobalt, that has been banned, for safety sake. Grandma Ann

Kale, I love your colorful rendition of The Cramtoggle Sandwich! Perhaps it would be a good idea to share your actual recipe for this creative item? I must confess I do not know what it is, although I do have some ideas! Bon Appetit! Grandma Ann

I believe there is such a tofu in Thailand made with volcano mud! The colors in your weaving are very vibrant and it looks like your “Tofu” may be very hot and spicy! Nice job Kale!
