Holy cow! If I had orange rain boots, an amazing blue raincoat, and a rainbow umbrella, I would be hoping for rain every day! I love how you created an umbrella that looks like a color wheel!

This one reminds me of “Cat and Bird”, a famous painting by an artist whose work I really like a lot and whose name is Paul Klee. “Cat and Bird” lives in a famous museum in New York City called MOMA (the Museum of Modern Art). One time we went there with Celia, and I took her picture next to “Cat and Bird”. It’s a funny picture because Celia’s eyes look squinty just like the cat’s! I will look for that photo so I can show it to you!

Zavian I love this picture I think it is awesome. My interpretation is that someone was caught in the rain but they have a very cool rainbow umbrella and orange rainboots, so everything is AWESOME! I could be totally wrong but that's what is so neat about art each person looking at it can decide what they see. Keep drawing keep imagining I love you and I miss you but I'll see you soon!

Hi Z! I hope you had a FUN Halloween. I’m sure it was a lot of fun learning the song about the Five Little Pumpkins! My favorite thing about this piece of artwork is how you have each of the pumpkins a unique facial expression. I see a scared pumpkin, an angry pumpkin, a happy pumpkin, a silly pumpkin, and a spooky pumpkin! When I was in second grade, I wrote my very first poem. It was about pumpkins! I can’t renember anything about it except this: 1.The first two lines were: “Pumpkins in a pumpkin patch They really look like they all match!” 2. I had a GREAT teacher named Miss Tunney (haha... rhymes with funny!) and she LOVED my poem. She encouraged me to write more poems. I have loved to read and write poems ever since then. Do you like poems? I love you, z, and I can’t wait to see your next creation’ Seeing the stuff you make at school is AWESOME. SO ARE YOU.
