I like your choice of an ocean ecosystem for your art project. I see that you have created a busy, healthy habitat showing various life forms such as the shark, fish, lobster, turtle, plants, and coral in this ecosystem. Your painting shows the shark at the top of this food chain, having no natural predators. They play an important role by keeping the ecosystem healthy by preying on overabundant ocean life. You did a nice job painting the water and the ocean floor. Love you!

Henry, I know you like to read novels about Greek gods and heroes, so you must have enjoyed working on this Greek black figure tile project. Perhaps the story you are telling on your tile comes from these books. You captured the silhouette style while making the scene your own. WOW ! Scary dragon ! Papier mâché seems like such a fun medium to work with! Was it really messy, part of the fun, right? Using foil to give it a strong base is really clever. Hi Henry, Great job on your first ceramic. It can be intimidating to work with clay and shape something. The result is really good: your mug sits well, is in good proportions and i love the color combination you chose. I wonder though what technique you used to get to the result of several color paints mixed in this random pattern. I love this mug. I had done a class in ceramics when i lived in Florida and loved it. I thought it was a great passtime. Congratulations ! Love you.

I always have trouble making a gingerbread house that sticks together. Maybe I should try making a ceramic one like yours which looks solid! Hi Henry, I imagine it is pretty difficult to put assemble different pieces of ceramic. You did a great job.
