It has a cruciform composition which I really respond to, the colors are well balanced, there is design within the design, there is pleasing repetition and the black surround creates drama. Hi Axel, what a fantastic piece of art. It’s color is like a Swedish summer with yellow fields and blue skys. I also think of a “trollslända” and I don’t know the English word for it so you have to ask Pappa about it. I love the colors , so beautiful and so Swedish ???? Love from farmor.

This is a dynamic piece with lots of lines converging together. You have balanced the colors beautifully and have just enough repetition of elements to unify the work. Every time I look at it I see new and interesting shapes like hearts and triangles and textures. Wonderful work! -- Munga

This piece of artwork is absolutely amazingly cool. I love how captures the feeling of fall, through the many fall colors in the changing leafs but in what appears to be a gorgeous blue sky day. The thoughtful difference in leaf color is incredible. While I know the artist Axel painted a beautiful leaf, the leaf co-incidentally also has the cool shape of an airplane, or a bird or maybe even a large flat fish. That's what's so great about art, you can see different things. Who, I am impressed and can't wait to see more wonderful pieces of artwork from this young Picasso. -- Kurt
