I am positively enthralled with this new work and look forward to discussing it with the artist when next I see him. I love the colors, the large swaths of the beautiful hues he chose dominating the canvass with variations in shading that give depth and and contrast within each area of the painting. And then there is the central figure wearing a mask (or so it would appear), with sad eyes but oh so lovely pink ears offsetting the otherwise grey body. Might that be his mother with her lovely cascading dark hair turned away from him? Are they parting and hence the sadness of the moment? So much to ponder. Kudos once again to Olin! I am smitten.

So my favorite is the figure with the glasses third from the right of the Cyclops. I like all the detail in it and the expression on its face.

Olin is a very talented young man. His creativity begins with his detailed and very descriptive storytelling. It is little wonder that he can take his words and ideas and transform them into physical concepts of what he thinks!

I love Olin’s choice of vivid colors and dynamic shapes in this piece. As evidenced in this work, Olin’s ability to express his inner vision through art forms is wonderful. Olin’s art is full of drama and intensity as is Olin himself. Fantastic!
