This is cute! It looks like a relative of Scooby Doo.

I am stunned that Gio created this thing of beauty. It’s not his style. I love that Ms. Trapani has opened his eyes to so many new things.

Oh wonderful. Is that a Charlie Brown float?
Posted 3 years ago by Grandma Joanie
This totally looks like a Tim Burton character. I will need Gio to explain to me what peculiarity he has.

Gio informed me that the main object is a pumpkin. I mistakenly thought he was depicting a video game on his tablet. That shows what I know! Grandma Joanie is viewing it with an artist’s eye. So, she recognized herself on the outskirts of what she surely recognized as a pumpkin.

Wow! This house has so many scary things inside and out that I would never want to spend the night here. But, that little thing sitting on the roof is kinda cute.
Posted 5 years ago by Grandma Madge
Gio told me he wasn’t too pleased with this one. He wasn’t paying attention to the layering that was supposed to be done. He just put colors where he thought they looked nice.

Wow, there’s a lot going on in that haunted house! I can’t wait for the original to come home so I can study it a little better. I think I spy someone or some thing dangling from the roof top! Spooky!

I love this 7 legged octopus. I guess he’s going to have to regenerate a leg. It’s a very beautiful ocean scene.

Giovanni demonstrates a tremendous amount of talent for his age.

I had to ask Gio what this is. He told me "I don't think I did a very good job on this one... but I think it's a hippo." Well, it's a pretty colored hippo. It reminds me of my favorite rainbow sherbet ice cream cones.

Giovanni, I love the expressions on these anthropomorphic hearts. The one looking sideways at the other is my favorite. You did such a good job on their eyes. You even put eyelashes on some! I'm going to hang it up on display when you bring it home. And, we'll put it up every February for Valentine's Day!

I love how Gio sees himself. This self portrait touched my heart so much that I had it made into a necklace.

Oh my gosh! How cute! I love his nose and ears...and his hair, too. It looks just like him! I just LOVE it!

News flash: Grandma Joanie & I got this all wrong! When this one came home, Giovanni explained it is most certainly NOT a bird. It is a magnifying glass being held to study an insect on a beautiful flower. It’s genius! I love it.

I agree, Grandma Joanie, flowery eyeballs are some of the best kind of eyeballs! Hearts and starry eyeballs are high atop my list too. This bird of Gio’s is magnificent.

This is genius!! Just look at all the emotions and all the interesting faces. Multi-racial. Multi-ages. Multi-everything!!! That pink guy has a beard. That green girl has a ponytail. That pink boy has a cool nose. That green guy has puffy eyes and lost his nose in a fight. I could go on for hours. I just love this one!!

This is the cutest little sloth I’ve ever seen. I wonder if it’s Kingsley or one of his relatives. Gio told me this sloth is lazy and a little bit sneaky.

The colors in this are very pretty. It looks kind of like a rose in the middle. I asked Gio to describe it and all he could say about it was that he had painted lines. I was reading so much more into it! ~Mommy~

I just LOVE this reindeer with the big pink nose. I think it is a girl because she has pink coat with black fur on it. Maybe she is a grandma and has a nice little grandson with a pink nose, too, so his mom named him "Pinkovanni".

Oh. This little red bird had to leave his beautiful house to find his breakfast worms. But now he has snow on him, and there are more snowflakes about to land on his back! I hope he hurries up and gets into his house before he get buried in the snow.

Giovanni, your reindeer is very cute. I can tell that this reindeer is not a baby because he has big antlers. I wonder if he’ll be helping to pull Santa’s sleigh this year. Love, Mommy

Gio, this is such a beautiful birdhouse! I love how it’s so colorful and cheery. That little red bird looks like it’s going to be so happy to come in there and get warm and cozy. I think any bird would be happy to live there. You’re doing such wonderful projects and I’m so proud of you. Love, Mommy

Those cute little sheep look so calm and serene just grazing on the green grass! I hope the one that is way up on top of the hill doesn't get lost, or fall off the hill. This picture would be good to put in your bedroom. Then you can count the sheep and fall asleep. Love, Grandma

Gio, I really love the bright blue water in this one! I like the way the purple and green near the top look so pretty together. The people look happy to be by the beautiful water.

I love that he is learning about depth perception and texturizing colors. This class will give him even more of an appreciation for art. As it is, he is always extremely proud of all his projects. He wants to save everything. He sorts through all his preschool projects from time to time and we discuss them and line them up from favorite to least favorite.

Actually, the perspective is GREAT. The errrrr..."sheep" are smaller towards the back. The grass is two shades of green and the sky is two shades of blue. I love it. I really love it. I would like to have the original. I don't have any Giovanni originals. sniff.
