Chloe has shown so much progress in her artwork over the past years. This particular work is remarkable in that it takes some human qualities such as the mouth and lips and builds them into a reptilian body of sorts. I feel like we are looking at a cross section of complex fish/caterpillar/bumble bee. If this can get me to see these things - yes, it's art!!!!!

I love all of Chloe's artwork, but this one is my favorite. Very nice blend of colors and that expression of surprise on the butterfly (or perhaps another species?) is quite humorous; it really looks like a combination of shock and awe. Keep up the good work Chloe!!! Love from Grandpa
