A bit spooky with those eyes the same color as the blue background. Did you paint on tin foil? It looks totally amazing! As always, I love your artwork! Love from Grandma Alice!

This creature/monster is very colorful! She has wide red sleeves, purple dress and green skin. Maybe she is flying over the earth under an aqua blue sky. How did you make the crinkle texture? Did you paint over waxy crayon? Hmm, let me know. Love you. Grandma Alice

Superb! I love this snow globe. I love how you wrote, Merry Christmas, and put each letter at the top of a tree?, stick?, stilt?! Mom's eyes have that white dot that looks like reflected light. The ten legged chair is very funny to me. Mom's tiny feet below the table, the snow globe on the table, it all shows so much attention to detail. Such a good job! Love it!

Love you Willow! You are a very good artist. I am noticing all of the details of 3D perspective you applied to the table and chairs. The snow globe is pretty with snow flakes and presents under the tree. The ten legged chair is hysterically funny. I want a ten legged chair too. Wonderful! Grandma Alice

Hello Willow! I love seeing each of your new works of art. I looked up a definition for "pattern in art" on my computer. It said it is "a repeated form or design". I can see the repeated form of the squares, and also the repeat of the same colors and textures of the squares. I enjoy being able to follow along with you as you learn about art and the different ways it can be expressed. What a great joy you are to me. Love you!

Good job, Willow! I enjoy your artwork. I have noticed your use of texture within the squares of color, and you really work hard at mixing the colors. Congratulations on your Paul Klee cubist painting. Love it! Love Grandma Alice.

Amazing what you have done with lines to suggest a blue sky, bark on a tree, and fall leaves. Grandma loves your art work!

Grandpa and Grandma live in a state where many farmers live and work. They plant field corn and soy beans and drive huge tractors and combines. Your artwork reminds me of the huge fields where the corn and soybeans grow. Beautiful!

Wonderful pretty rich colors. A garden with a white picket fence and green trees beyond. I would like that garden.

I know you love to mix colors and see what happens. The primary colors all mix and make new colors. How do you make purple?
