Ellie! I love this piece of art. It reminds me of the scene in Snow White when she flees the huntsman, and it also reminds me of when howl removes the fallen star from his chest. Love the way the rays of light push outward. :)

Not only do you understand the 3D nature of a face, you understand both normal illumination and directional light, and the cyan rim light at the neck really adds to the piece.
