Mouse on a Motorcycle makes use of excellent composition and shading techniques. Also the subject matter was an interesting choice. The images of three mice on motorcycles, while one pops a wheelie, invokes the spirit of freedom. One can hear AC/DC's Highway to Heck while viewing this piece.

A stunning composition. The use of color is visually dazzling. I think this piece is the clear winner for the Middle-School Yearbook.

Ah, excellent work. Derivative of Andy Warhol. Also could be used in an effective advertisement campaign for Campbell's Soup. Makes me hungry. Great use of colors.

Exceptional composition. The use of shading really makes the subjects pop out and feel "real". The details of the lettering on the book and the numbers on the dice help make the objects feel real. And of course, the communicator buttons seem like they can be used. Wonderful drawing. The student shows real promise.

As a fan of both Star Trek and Star Wars, I love this depiction of the U.S.S. ENTERPRISE in battle with an Imperial Star Destroyer. Live Long and Prosper. May the Force be with you. -- Dad
