Owen, Your butterfly is beautiful and looks just like the monarchs that migrate to our house. We make sure to let the milkweed plants grow by the stairs that go down to the lake. The flowers of the milkweed smell like beautiful perfume. One time we put two caterpillars in a jar and fed them milkweed. They made a chrysalis and soon monarch butterflies emerged. We opened the jar and they flew away. One summer something very special happened. A monarch migration stopped to rest in our trees. There were thousands and thousands of them.
