Ella, I had not heard of the artist Romeo Britto so I googled him. You did an excellent job of using his style! I enjoyed seeing your work and was not surprised to see a Disney character. Love, Grammy

Ella- your photo is a feast for my eyes. The colors are gorgeous, and I love the steaks of sunshine on the largest flower. I would love to come across this scene on a walk through the woods! Love, Grammy

Ella, This is a lovely, peaceful photo celebrating the relaxing qualities in some natural settings. The purple buds add a sweet quality to the photo which I especially appreciated. Love,Grammy

Ella, this photo is a great compliment to your earlier one of the sun peeking brightly through the branches of a tree. You have a well developed sense of perspective. The same thing can look and feel different depending on the light. Love, Grammy

The beautiful lilac colored branches give this picture almost a spring feeling as we come into spring. Loving it, Miss Ella.

Ella, I really enjoyed studying this photo. You captured the sun peeking through the tree at exactly the right time! It is going to change in just a minute. But I can continue seeing it in your picture!! You have a good eye for photography. Love, Grammy

Ella, As I told Owen I don’t always post comments, but so enjoy your art work. My special love is pictures of seeing art in nature, in the natural compositions Nature provides for us. You have captured one of Nature’s special moments. Thank you for sharing. Blessings sent, Grandma Linda

GOOD capture. Beautiful rays. How wonderful the sun makes the beauty of this world seen. We don't see this beauty in darkness.

Ella, your Selfie shows a grown up, serious girl with a playful side. Love her! You look serious about taking up the challenges of 5th grade. Love, Grammy

Miss Ella, that is beautiful.the design and texture have great form. But I have not seen any artwork from any artists I follow that give the are art transparency like yours, and the rays, like sunshine, give the picture realism. It's like you painted a couple of tree trunks then laid a grany transparent film over your painting. Iwill have to ask you how you did that. I truly love this picture.

You have a quizzical look, like "I can't wait to get into the game. I know what I need to do when I get back in". Whether or not that was your intent you did beautifully in capturing you in thought.??

Dear Ella, we just had a nice visit and I enjoyed viewing your art work. You have lots of talent! This wide eyed animal seems lonely to me, especially the look in his eyes. Added to that the landscape looks lonely also. I like pictures that evoke emotion and this one succeeds. Love, Grammy

Ella, I think it's wonderful that you have a lot to be grateful for. Your tree has a lot of branches, and your heart has a lot of love.
Posted 4 years ago by Pepaw

Ella, I love the way you made the colored pieces on the tree look like jewels. Did you do that with shading? Wish I could read what you list you are thankful for but the letters are too small for my old eyes. Sending love, Grammy

The great size of your tree is true to the size of your heart.

Miss Ella, those colors and shapes are wonderful eye candy.

Dear Ella, this art work is fabulous! I would frame it and put it in my house. I wonder how you created the orange and yellow background? The stylized flowers are so much fun. I was guessing that one looks like fingers and a thumb and another looks like it is made of pencils. Lovely. Love, Grammy

Ella- I love that you decided to turn your 1/2 circle around. Not all the shapes in a picture need to be the same! Then the colors you used create more attention. I love the polka dots and the BANG in your 1/2 circle. Love, Grammy

Dear Ella, I am not surprised that you chose to draw Wilma as a favorite Olympian. You are both so speedy!! It is so helpful to learn about a champion who has gifts similar to yours. I applaud your art teacher for this very creative exercise. And, your drawing is so lovely. If Wilma were alive I would suggest sending a copy of your picture to her. Love, Grammy

Ella, I am very impressed with your creation. The pastel colors are very appealing. Your use of a line at the horizon and then the use of 2 colors meeting there, works so well! I can just taste that swirling pink frosting. Wonderful mouth-watering work. Love, Grammy
