I love the background, and scales on the snakes are very intricate too.

I think it’s very enriching to make watercolor pigments from nature! Chemistry meets art! Wonderful! Avocado green? :) Irises have always been one of my favorite flowers! Nice work! Love, Mom

Very clever, but not surprising from a chicken expert like you.

Hi Emelia! This Lino block is super cool! I love the shapes and colors. I wish I could see it in person. Keep up the great work, thanks for sharing! AM

Love this! Great colors and composition!

Have enjoyed your work this year; although, it seems a bit on the abstract side for me. I'm from the old school - right :) Here's an idea - somehow incorporate a detailed rendition of a neat molecule showing all its spatial characteristics and using different colors from each element as well as bonding (single, double, triple etc.). You might choose a pharmaceutical since they are usually relatively complex. Once chosen, you could find a 3 -dimensional image of it on the internet to use a your model.

I love your art work Emelia. And Chickens are another favorite of mine. Must be an extended family thing! One of these days maybe I'll have a piece of your artwork not to hang on the refrigerator but to hang on the wall. Keep enjoying the art process. Aunt Cindy

Very nice but not as beautiful as you really are - especially after your newest hairdo. Pops

it is a wonderful work. The resemblance is very good and the use of shadows and color is remarkable.

Emelia, you are beginning to amass a veritable oeuvre of work. Good job. As an aside, I would like to comment that your brother submitted a very well put comment to your latest work.

This artwork is so interesting. Is the fill in in pencil or ink?

Very well done and detailed drawing. I knew immediately it said Emelia. At one time as a teen I worked at a school for the blind and learned the sign language. Love Caro

Amazing detail. Is this sequence of hands saying something in sign language? Knowing you it's probably something like "I love chickens".

This is so awesome! I love all the detail. Hands are really tricky to draw too. We’ve enjoyed seeing all your beautiful artwork! Love, Aunt Katie

Nice detail of one of your all time favorite subjects. I suppose the purpose here was to show how the ear that partially covers the border area is done so precisely as to appear just as one would actually see it from this perspective.

Bunny is well done. What is the purpose of the border which was mentioned in the description of the project? very interesting. Caro

Emelia, I am in in awe of your creativity. There is a little bit of Picasso as well as Chagall in your art work. Yet it is uniquely yours. I hope you have framed this beautiful picture.

Great ingenuity and creativeness. My only surprise was not seeing a chemical symbol somewhere.
