Great work, Erik! i thought it was a golfer playing during a snowstorm.

This is a fun one, Erik! I can see you sitting on a soccer field with your feet and hands up, waiting for the toss of a ball. The proportions are just right from the angle of a camera pointed at you. The Viking colors and your age on your shirt are noted!

Erik, you are really advancing! Great work on using a simple image to show three dimensional art.

Erik, I love these graphic pieces! It's interesting to see what you have done with black versus white spaces and lines and shapes, and how you have altered the direction of them as well. Mixing spheres with triangles is also interesting!

I love how you were able to make dimension with the use of clean lines and only black and white. Really cool!

I can just see you skiing down these slopes, Erik! it almost looks like the day is ending and the sun is setting as you ski down the hill and enter into the darker part of the landscape. As I write this, we are having another big snow, so this picture is actually "happening"!! It's a peaceful setting as you have pictured it.

This looks like one of the hats from Harry Potter! I saw the piece and I like it a lot. I hope you enjoyed learning the technique of wrapping the cords to make a shape!

Hi Erik, Great demonstration of three dimensional drawings. Do you notice in the cartoons you watch that some are 2D and some are 3D?

I love how you are working on these skills, Erik! 3D is vital for drawing so many things!

Wow, Erik, this is fantastic! I am mesmerized as I stare at it, and it feels like it is moving at times. I can see the "hole" you refer to as well. I actually really like those complementary colors you used. You are really exploring depth, perspective, and movement in this piece.....in my brain it looks like the orange areas are cones and the blue areas are like fluttering fabric....and then it reverses and the blue ones look like the cones! It's really cool :)

Hi Erik, I really like your artwork. the "Darkness Tree" is very forboding!

Erik, this definitely reminds me of a tree in the Minnesota winter! I too find the squirrel to be a cute contrast; his little head peeking out makes me laugh! You are definitely learning more about sharing and depth using the blender and charcoal. Great job!

This is a very interesting piece, Erik! Is the hole for critters to live in?? Did you learn any new techniques when you were doing this project? I used to work with clay on a potter's wheel and I liked it a lot! Love you!

Erik, very nice pottery work. It looks to me as though you were inspired by your Mom's birch log candles.

This work of art really says "Erik" to me. It's another way to play with legos and use your amazing drawing skills. Great job, honey.

Erik, I love this collage of different views of your Lego. It almost made me think of the Lego brick as "alive" and in different scenes! Very cool!

Hi Erik, The bold lines and intense color of your artwork it reminded me of Vincent van Gogh. You should look at his paintings.

Erik, I used to love to do art with yarn and thread. You can make so many cool things! Nice job with this spider. I'm glad he is not alive though :) Love, Grandma Fran
